Yep, Bendigo road trip, day trip, whatever. Up at 8.30am out the door at 9.30am made it to Bendigo racecourse at 11.40isham. The occassion? DeeDee's first race. It was okay, she was 9th (of 11) over the line. Jockey said she'll have learnt plenty from today. Onwards and upwards. The action shot is of Top Bell winning the fourth event. Then there's this super cool dog we encountered on the way home. It was ute surfing! Now that's something you don't see in the city. And then to round off a pretty good day - a rainbow.
