Day 128 - There's a roof!

There is currently roof frames over our extension, this is very, very exciting! Just waiting for the roof tiles to go on now.

Day 126 - Ballarat Races

Snowy

Denim

Today I strapped Snowy at Ballarat races. We didn't win, but thats okay because I'm still alive! Snowy had a spazoid moment in the mounting yard and I consider myself very lucky.

But let's talk about Denim. For any McLeod's Daughter's fans out there - our pony Denim was on that show. Special!

Days 123, 124 and 125

Day 123

The renovations continue, but they're no longer destroying and are going to lay the bricks tomorrow

Day 124

The opening night of Moonee Valley's night racing season was also AFL Grand Final eve. This is the one decent shot I took all night.

Day 125

We went up to Living Legends today to see the West Australian star Northerly. But that was after we spent some time with my favourite racehorse Apache Cat. He was very social today and he played with us, which was super.

Day 122 - MUD

So, this is a backyard. It's just mud. The ground literally sinks beneath your feet. Which is quite scary.

Day 121 - Underwood Stakes

So today was Underwood Stakes Day and we saw up and comer So You Think demolish another field of quality horses.

Day 120 - Further Demolition

The extension has started going full swing and alas, most of the back of our house has ceased to exist. Amazing.
